Helen Washecheck, PT
Helen graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a BS in Physical Therapy in 1991 and completed a two-year post-graduate program in orthopedics in Austin, TX. In 1999, she co-authored a case study on treatment of ankle sprains that was published in the Journal of Orthopaedic and Sports Physical Therapy.
She relocated to Tulsa and became a partner in an outpatient orthopedic and spine physical therapy clinic for 10 years prior to opening Physical Therapy of Tulsa in January 2010. Helen has taught numerous continuing education courses over the past 15 years. She has developed a unique treatment philosophy combining manual techniques with movement re-education to obtain excellent outcomes. She currently teaches golf clinics with golf professional, Janice Gibson and treats clients out of Southern Hills Country Club.
Ian Blake, PT, MPT, OCS
Ian graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a Master of Physical Therapy in 2004. In 2007 he became one of only 25 board certified orthopaedic specialists in the state of Oklahoma. Prior to becoming a Physical Therapist, Ian practiced as a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant in the area of orthopaedics for 5 years.
Ian specializes in all areas of orthopaedics, including spinal dysfunction, post-operative rehabilitation, sports rehabilitation, orthotic fabrication, work-related injury, and degenerative joint disease. He is trained in a variety of techniques including soft tissue mobilization, specialized exercise prescription for treatment of movement impairments, Postural Restoration©
, and the Graston Technique©
. Ian has also completed advanced clinical training in the use of high speed video to diagnose movement dysfunction and to determine readiness for return to sport. This technology is also used to assess running form and sports-related movements that are causing pain.
He teaches running clinics for all skill levels and has been a clinical instructor for the University of Oklahoma, Tulsa Community College, and Texas Women's University. He is an active member of the Oklahoma Physical Therapy Association and the American Physical Therapy Association.
Rhonda Millet, MSPT, CHT
Rhonda Millet graduated with a Masters of Science degree in 1998 from Regis University in Denver, Colorado. Since that time she has treated patients with a variety of bone, joint, and muscle dysfunctions, and has focused training in: industrial rehabilitation, ergonomics, FCE, and post-offer work assessments.
In 2010 she received specialized training to become a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT).
In 2013 Rhonda completed more than 46 hours of certified training in Trigger Point Dry Needling.
Becky Wilcox, PT, MPT
Becky Wilcox graduated with a Master of Physical Therapy in 2010 from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center on the Tulsa Schusterman Campus. Since that time she has treated patients with a variety of orthopedic dysfunctions with a specialization in Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation.
In 2013 Becky completed more than 50 hours of certified training in Trigger Point Dry Needling.
Jenny York, PT, DPT, CLT
Jenny received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Rosalind Franklin School of Medicine and science in Illinois in 2009. Prior to that, she received a Bachelor of Science in Education majoring in exercise science with an emphasis of pre-physical therapy from the University of Kansas. She spent three years at Swedish Covenant Hospital in Chicago using evidence based practice to treat individuals following orthopedic surgery, cardiopulmonary issues, gastrointestinal surgeries, and post-stroke. She was also the lead physical therapist for wound care. In addition to her orthopedic focus, she is a certified lymphedema therapist (CLT) through The Academy of Lymphatic Studies and specializes in treating people before and after cancer treatment.
Gina F. Miller, PT, DPT
Gina, a Pennsylvania native, received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Duquesne University in 2010. In 2008, she graduated with Bachelor's degrees in both Science and Health Sciences. She worked in acute care and outpatient orthopedics settings, and enjoys working with a variety of acute and chronic conditions including spinal dysfunction, post-operative rehabilitation, and gait deficits. She continues to expand her knowledge within these areas by attending continuing education classes and utilizes a treatment style that blends manual therapy treatment with functional exercise.
Claire McInerney, PT, DPT
Claire McInerney graduated with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2014 from Saint Louis University in St. Louis, Missouri. Since that time she has treated patients with a variety of orthopedic dysfunctions. In addition to her Physical Therapy focus, Claire received a minor in Spanish during her time at Saint Louis University. This combination brings an extremely important skill set to an underserved community in the Tulsa area.
Jonathan Willey, PTA
Jonathan became a board certified Physical Therapist Assistant in 2006. Since this time he has worked primarily in the outpatient orthopedic setting, focusing on spinal conditions, decreased tissue mobility, pre-operative and post-operative rehabilitation, gait deficits, and balance disorders. He has received extensive training in many treatment techniques, including Postural Restoration©
and Movement Impairment Systems. Prior to becoming a Physical Therapist Assistant he graduated from Oklahoma State University.
Eric Krebs, PTA
Eric graduated from Tulsa Community College and became a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant in 2013. Prior to attending Tulsa Community College he received his Bachelor's of Science in Health and Human Performance at Northeastern State University. Eric has a passion for the outpatient orthopedic setting and always strives to deliver the utmost in patient care. Eric has previous experience working as a therapy technician, group exercise instructor, and fitness specialist. Through his prior experience he has been able to work with a variety of people from all ages to help them achieve their goals.
Vicky Weidner, MD, FACEP
Dr. Weidner has practiced Emergency Medicine at Saint Francis Hospital for 20 years and has been an Assistant Professor with the University of Oklahoma, Emergency Medicine Residency. She also was the Medical Director for Tulsa Life Flight for seven years and served as their representative on the Multidisciplinary Quality Committee for Trauma Surgery, Neurosurgery, Orthopedic Surgery and Emergency Medicine.
Her focus of practice has been improving the quality of patient care and she has been a member and then Chairman of the Peer Review Committee for the Trauma Emergency Center and was the originator of the Excellence Committee and the Director of Quality for Emergency Medicine Physicians.
Dr. Weidner graduated from the University of Oklahoma, College of Medicine in Oklahoma City and completed an Internship in Internal Medicine at the University of Oklahoma Teaching Hospitals. She completed her Residency with the University of South Carolina at Palmetto Richland Medical Center in Richland, South Carolina. After becoming a Fellow in the American College of Emergency Physicians, she completed a Teaching Fellowship and Advanced Teaching Fellowship. She completed the Harvard / MIT Comprehensive Workshop in Medical Simulation for leaders in the field of Medical Simulation worldwide.
